FAQ
I don’t put any fancy mancy strict terms and conditions to the services I offer, just a simple rules + straight forward guidelines between you the client and me the designer to follow. If you don’t really get along with these simple rules, there are still room to negotiate on certain things and points, I’m open for some discussion on the terms before both parties move to the design work details. However, if you don’t really like it at all, then just go and look for another designers. No hearts feeling though..
What’s are range of design services I’m offering?
Logo design, Web design, Advertising (print materials) and C.I.S
Explain more on the range of services that I offer.
Logo design: consist of design fresh logos + redesign existing logos
Web design: consist of website design layout and website development
Advertising: consist of print materials like company brochures, restaurant menus, product leaflet, posters, banners, vehicles body works.
What do you mean with C.I.S?
C.I.S is stand for Corporate Identity System, which includes a complete package of design work needed to open up a new company. I shall provide the main logo design for this company and comes with other supporting materials as brochures, leaflet, envelopes, letterheads, business cards, company’s vehicles body works, and so on. All these comes in ONE single unit blends with the company’s logo and concept.
How long shall the design will complete?
Usually, with better communication and understanding between client and designers, you will get faster result. However, dateline for Logo Design is depends on how fast designer + client communicate each other. Normally, for Logo Design it will takes about 3-4 weeks (the longest) and 1-2 weeks (the fastest). Website design shall go for 2-3 weeks (the fastest) and 4-6 weeks (the longest) for website design + development. While, Advertising on print materials, shall go for around 2-3 weeks.
How shall the design process go about?
On the 1st stage, after all the brainstorming I shall provide a number of thumbnails (hand drawn sketch) drawing sample as the first ideas for client to choose. The 2nd stage, I shall render and polish the first ideas into digital copy in black + white form for client to review. Later in 3rd stage, I shall provide the color scheme (selection of design in various colors) in order for client to approve. While on the 4th stage, the design shall almost complete in about 95% and final touch up shall be done here. The 5th stage which is the final process is to submit the work to client.
In what form shall the design be submitted?
All design shall be submitted via soft copy in DVD and or downloadable links. The download links shall have client specific user name and specific password. Why download links? Means clients from around the globe can easily download their artwork, also the best part is that all the client’s finish master artwork will be kept safe on my server in case the client messing up with their copy and Hey! its a FREE storage guys..
In what format shall the client received?
The client shall received all master artwork in .psd (Photoshop), .ai (Illustrator), .tiff (high resolution) format. For those who don’t know, these format are edited-able. While for preview purposes, files comes in .jpg, .png format.
How about the payment like?
I shall received 50% of the full payment in order to start the work and another 50% when I get the work complete. As simple as that!
How to make the payment?
I accept payment via PayPal in USD currency, while for locals (Malaysian clients) I shall accept RM (Ringgit Malaysia) currency deposited through my local Bank.
What’s are the things I need from the client beside the payment?
Normally, what I need is simple, a little bit (the more the better) of info or useful input that I should know about the design and lastly what kind of concept you as the client like to have on their design. However, if the client still don’t have anything on their mind, just leave it to me for my super duper brainstorming session, I shall come back to the client with fresh and quality ideas.
