It’s been a long time since I’ve uploaded my hand-drawn Self Caricature if you guys still can remember.. and I was always wondering on how to come up with something ‘extra ordinary’ for my self portrait, after a few tweaks here and there, so I come up first with the idea of having a flame all over my body which I though was cool but actually it was HOTTER.

Now I wanted to try something else, this time having gradient bokeh while posing with my Rebel XSi with yummy tones for my self portrait was not a bad idea anyway..

Again.. Adobe will release its new Creative Suite latest edition which will feature the new Adobe Photoshop CS5 and it will brings far more advanced technology in photo editing nowadays..

What is Adobe CS5?
Adobe Creative Suite 5 (Adobe CS5) is a collection of graphic design, video editing, and web development applications made by Adobe Systems. The collection consists of Adobes applications (e.g., Photoshop CS5, Acrobat, InDesign CS5, Illustrator CS5, Flash CS5), that are based on various technologies (e.g., PostScript, PDF, Flash).

Canon has once again marked another date of history when they launched the new ’super playa’ the EOS-1D Mark IV yesterday in London. A professional DSLR camera with super high-speed and powerful performance is set not just to compete with its close rival but directly to get an ideal shooting needs for real professional photographers. The EOS-1D Mark IV comes in 16.1MP and powered with new high-quality CMOS sensor and Dual “DIGIC 4” processors. Canon introduce the new and hot EOS 7D today which said been built + designed for real photographers. The EOS 7D built with the new 18MP APS-C CMOS Sensor and powered with Dual DIGIC IV processors which means, the 7D users will get faster + high-quality performance both in still images and full HD movie recording. The EOS 7D also comes with amazingly 19-AF Point to offer better composition with the new metering system call the Focus Colour Luminance (iFCL), and what’s more interesting with this EOS 7D is the built in technology of speedlite transmitter is in the 7D body. Amazon is now selling EOS 7D preorder for USD1699, hmmm… sounds cheap!

SONY has recently introduced their new Alpha family members of DSLRs, not one but THREE new SONY Alpha DSLRs models. The highest specs among the three is Sony A380 which will cost around $850 with optional of one kit lens (SAL-1855) lenses or available with two kit lense (both SAL-1855 and SAL-55200) at $1050. All three models are built with SteadyShot INSIDE™ in-camera image stabilization which will reduce blur effect due to camera shake.

It’s been only around 14 months since the last EOS 450D appeared in the market and now coming the new 15 Mega Pixel sensor, the new EOS 500D or popularly call Digital Rebel T1i in the US, this time with Video mode.. Hi everyone! how’s your weekend? hope everything doin just as what you’ve planned, I’ll start this week with amazing LEGO arts.. but first, if you’re NOT a fan of STAR Wars then don’t bother to browse through..

While most PRO photographers love to photographed models, celebrities and sportsmen, there’s one photographer known as Balakov in Flickr have done an amazing photography job with only using LEGO set.. the name is Mike Stimpson from UK who enjoy macro lighting.

Fun Bathing by Tan Choon Wee Singapore

I’m glad the full results is just announced and here is overall winner,  Tan Choon Wee from Singapore. A 57-year-old seasoned traveller and has been engaged seriously with photography for 25 years. Shot taken using Nikon D200 with Nikkor 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 lens at 60mm, ISO 400, 1/1000sec at f/7.1.

I have featured Tan’s winning photo into one of my earlier post as one of my favorite photo in the Photographer of The Year 2008 entry galleries, hmmm.. is this means I have good taste in photography? heh! maybe yes maybe no.
