Presenting the new member of NIKON, D700 which has been announce recently and will be schedule to be in the market by this July (US + Europe). Many says some of the NIKON D3 specification are pretty much inside this new D700 and as for the body it’s similar to D300 design, not so sure but then it’s worth buying it.

CANON has announced their newest DSLR model, CANON EOS 1000D or also known as REBEL XS or they call it in Japan as Canon EOS Kiss Digital F. EOS 1000D comes with 10 megapixels and powered by DIGIC III image processor which will bring a wide choice of affordable good SLR in the market.

Comparing to the previous model of EOS 450D which has been introduced early this year, this 1000D a lot more heavier and that’s why I think it’s slightly cheaper. Beside, 1000D comes with 2.5 size of LCD Monitor compare to 3″ for EOS 450D, it only has 7 point CMOS sensor for Auto focus function, that’s pity. Even though the price is quiet cheap, I still go for EOS 450D for affordable type of DSLR.

CANON has made an awesome commercial for their new model of SLR camera, the EOS Rebel XSi also known as CANON 450D. What makes this commercial to be fxxkin awesome is when there were 10 photographers using Canon EOS 1DS MKII has made over 70,000 images from different angle to make the show.

The commercial is made for the NFL as CANON was the official camera for the game and can you really imagine how they done it??

How you differ HDR photography?

Well, in wikipedia HDR photography stands for ” High Dynamic Range Imaging “.. was developed to produce a high dynamic range image from a set of photographs taken with a range of exposures. Normal HDR photos taken with 3 different exposures and it takes up to five different exposures to get a better results. HDR photos can be also generate from a single RAW file, it finally depends on the treatment apply from HDR sofware such as Photoshop (at least Photoshop CS2), Photomatix, Aperture or Adobe LightRoom.

But to me HDR means more than nothing like ‘Wowww!!!”. Here I share with you an awesome HDR works from one of my favourite HDR experts on Flickr group, NY_Doll a.k.a Doug Cawker.

Did you know ‘KWANON’ is the origin logo name first used in 1933 for the first trial camera production made from Japan which is now call CANON.

In June 1934, Yoshida and his brother in law Saburo Uchida and Takeo Maeda, a former subordinate of Uchida, released their first trial camera call the ‘Kwanon’, named after the Buddhist goddess of mercy, which include the wording and an image of Kwanon with 1,000 Arms and flames. Since Kwanon and Canon had similar pronunciations, the transition went smoothly until nowadays people still call it Kwanon in Japan.

Canon had gain its own high profile in the consumer market after the company begin full-scale marketing starting in 1935. During the same year, Kwanon has come up with a new logo and the name was changed to Canon to reflect a more modern concept identity.

1934 - The engraved Kwanon logo was used on cameras trial-manufactured by the Company (but not actually released in the market).

1935 - The Canon logo is registered as a trademark. Prominent features were already inherent in the refinement process.

1953 - Unification of the logo. The image was further refined to achieve an overall balance.

1956 - The current logo was the culmination of painstaking and meticulous design efforts.

I’ve just watched the 2006 Samuel L. Jackson movie last night (what a pity!!), ‘Snakes On A Plane’ via torrent downloads, and the time I was trying to look for the movie poster on google images to download it along with the torrent file, I found out this..

See carefully the snake on the left (with Yellow line), it should twisted the other way around and not came from the back of the aeroplane body.

I guess you also didn’t noticed this would happen.. Hope the New Line Cinema didn’t take this post as against them. It was just a lousy piece of photoshop work or a simple photoshop laziness, nothing much.
