How’s everyone’s weekend so far? Mine was kind of tiring, I’ve been to some event shooting early in the morning till the afternoon, rushing up for datelines of pending assignments (which usually I don’t do any design work on Sunday) and only on the evening I have my own peaceful of mind resting beside my favorite ice Nescafe mocha while updating this blog.

What I want to share with you all is not about my tiring weekend, but what I’ve been reading so far yesterday is been great for inspirational ideas to start and refresh your Monday.

If you guys still remember my previous post about Pascal Habousha - the master of digital retouching, well.. here is another great master of digital photo retouching which I would like to share with all, Christopher Huet, an inspiring French retoucher.

Christopher Huet has been retouching for about 10 years now, as he first involved in music studies where he finds it was not the correct interest for him since he love drawing so much. He later worked as a technician processing in a photo laboratory for a group of talented photographers where about 7 years ago, he met one young + talented photographer Dimitri Daniloff where at this point they have develop the creativity + skills in photo retouching to became massive impact in digital advertising industry.

These proven where Christopher Huet has been working for such big names like Adidas, Snickers, Nike, Playstation, Lancome, Tag Heuer, Audi, Toyota, Citroen, Nissan, Alfa Romeo, Motorola and many more for their advertising promo campaign.

I’ve spend about an hour browsing through his portfolio site, I must say all of his work is the best + very inspiring, plus.. one of the nicest feature on his portfolio site is where you able to see some of his creative retouching progress on each image layers.

Hi everyone! how’s your weekend? hope everything doin just as what you’ve planned, I’ll start this week with amazing LEGO arts.. but first, if you’re NOT a fan of STAR Wars then don’t bother to browse through..

While most PRO photographers love to photographed models, celebrities and sportsmen, there’s one photographer known as Balakov in Flickr have done an amazing photography job with only using LEGO set.. the name is Mike Stimpson from UK who enjoy macro lighting.

Today, I’m going to write more about inspiration.. this time by a versatile artist, photographer, web designer and also a graphic designer himself who worked as a freelancer.

The name Zach Bush from Radford, Virginia, United States is a winner of 2008 Gold ADDY Winner, PSA Ad in The Roanoke Valley ADDY Awards, 1st Place for 3D Animation in Highlander Film Festival and 2nd Place for Bitmap Illustration in RU Graphic Design Show, 2007. He is not just an illustrator, Zach is also proficient to Flash, CSS, Indesign, Dreamweaver and Cinema 4D and also enjoys + experienced in photography, videography, web & graphic design. (mann.. that’s super awesome!)

Today, I’m sharing with you all with one great vector artist.. Mel Marcelo, an artist and illustrator from San Diego, USA.

Most designers usually create drawings or graphic illustration using multiple graphic applications, but Marcelo usually create his drawing using detailed outlines in Adobe Illustrator alone which brings stunning quality of vector drawings in the end.

With an addition to my ‘Street Art’ series, today I want to share with you guys with one great artists from Brazil, the land of football named Eduardo Kobra.

Born in Sao Paulo and started his creative works around the late 80’s. Most of Eduardo’s wall paintings are extremely magnificent, rich in details with tri dimensional elements. Eduardo has made several wall painting of realistic an old classic city scenes all over Sao Paulo city. He calls this project as ‘Wall of Memories’ to bring the memories of good old days to the locals and the visitors of the Sao Paulo city. The ‘Wall of Memories’ project was more like a non profit project done by Eduardo with the help of few of his team members using his own budget without any commission paid. Can you imagine that!

Most of the paintings done with a detail air brush spray and this talented Brazilian artist has worked with such big names like Chevrolet, Ford, Coca Cola, Jonnie Walker and many more.

A highly talented Brazillian illustrator and colorist, Willian Hideki Murai or known as Will Murai was born in Mogi das Cruzes-SP and raised in Arujá, Brazil. Will Murai is a designer from São Paulo and has been working with such big names of clients such as Marvel Comics and DC comics. His works of art was really amazing which creates some really wonderful modern digital paintings, from comic strips to t-shirt designs and magazine advertisement.

Maybe some of you may have not known who Dave Hill is.. but to me, as a beginners, Dave Hill is one of my great inspirations in photography.

Therefore, In this post I presents to you.. Dave Hill, a commercial photographer from Orange, California who enjoys extreme sports like motorcycles, rafting, skating, travelling and the desert. He listen to most all kinds of music like Pearl Jam, Green Day, Lagwagon, Coldplay, Dido and many more.
