Posted by Eshark on Jun 17th, 2008

iphone-3g.jpg

Now iPhone comes with 3G function, while other famous mobile manufacturer like Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Motorolla and many more had developed the 3G technology long time before iPhone has, don’t you think it’s already too late?? Naahh! I don’t think so, when talking about Apple technology, nothing is behind time. Those are just a mobile phone while iPhone is everything you need for better and faster 3G wireless technology for surfing, email downloads, map directions, song downloads also your favourite video even while you’re on a call.

iphone-3g-dock.jpgWith 2.4 x faster than EDGE connection, iPhone 3G uses a technology protocol called HSDPA (High-Speed Downlink Packet Access) to download data fast over UMTS (Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) networks.

This MacBook Touch concept by David Mcmillan is really catch my intention this evening, designed based on one of Apple’s latest patents which uses a transparent touch screen that can work as a control surfaces on two sides, while the device is open and close.

Now isn’t that an awesome design concept? I bet it is. See more photos available at Gizmodo.com for better view.

MacBook Air - Thinnovation

Posted by Eshark on Jan 17th, 2008

macbook-air-float.jpg

Now….This what I call a notebook.

Introducing the brand new super bad-ass world’s thinnest note book.. MacBook Air is ultrathin, ultraportable, and ultra unlike anything else, powered with Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 4MB on-chip shared L2 cache running at full processor speed. But you don’t lose inches and pounds overnight. It’s the result of rethinking conventions.

macbook-air-float2-new.jpg

I wonder what makes the air so thin.. amazingly thin, flat-out at 0.4cm to 1.94cm of height, 32.5cm of width and 22.7cm of depth sleek and sturdy anodized aluminum at only 3.0 pounds.

macbook-air-front.jpg

With glossy 13.3″, widescreen LED backlit MacBook Air display is similar viewable size as the screen of the previous MacBook. The moment you open MacBook Air, the 1280 x 800 resolution gives you rich vibrant images + colors at full brightness full-screen performance with all the benefits of a slim design. The mercury and arsenic-free display is also more power efficient, which translates to longer battery life.

macbook-air-keyboard-new.jpg

MacBook Air keyboard is full-size keyboard and it have goes further by adding backlit key illumination, making it easy to work in low-light settings. A built-in ambient light sensor automatically adjusts keyboard and display brightness for optimal visibility. MacBook Air also includes an oversize trackpad with multi-touch technology where you can pinch, swipe, or rotate to zoom in on text which similar to iPhone and iPod Touch technology.

macbook-air-wireless.jpg

MacBook Air comes with a built in 2GB of RAM.. wow! that’s so generous, and as for the storage capacity is 80GB hard drive with the option to upgrade to a 64GB solid-state drive, which has no moving parts for enhanced durability. Will cost you starting at $1799.

New Mac Pro

macpro-new.jpg

Apple introduces the new super fast + super powerful Mac Pro ever built, with eight-core processing (standard) powered with the latest technology from Intel, Quad-Core Intel Xeon “Harpertown” processors. Runs at 3.2GHZ (man that’s fast!!) and was built for you with Double layer burner X 2.. means backing up your data to two double-layer DVDs at once.

macpro-new-graphics.jpg

As for graphics comes with double-wide, 16-lane PCI Express 2.0 graphics slot with one of the following graphics cards installed :

- ATI Radeon HD 2600 XT - 256MB of GDDR3 memory + two dual-link DVI ports
- NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT - 512MB of GDDR3 memory + two dual-link DVI ports
- NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600 - 1.5GB of GDDR3 memory, two dual-link DVI ports, + one stereo 3D port.

which provides great performance for typical creative applications, plus you get dual 30-inch Apple Cinema HD Display support out of the box.

macpro-leopard.jpg

This new Mac Pro also comes with massive storage at 4TB with four 3.5-inch internal hard drive bays. Each bay provides its own independent 3Gb/s channel for fast access to data. And it’s cable-free + direct-attach installation system.. means, adding/replacing the hard drives is a surprisingly simple process (even my grandma can do it!). For more details specs + reviews, visit Apple.com

What I can say is… a perfect new machine for a new beginning of 2008.
