When you first started got interested into art and design?
Well, since my childhood I always drew with pen and paper but my encounter with digital art especially with Photoshop mostly happened just twenty months ago when I needed to make a banner for the jewelry store where I work. Since then I never gave up this wonderful software called Photoshop.

Describe to us briefly of what’s your typical day of work.
Well, as I’ve mentioned earlier, I worked ten hours a day at the jewelry store weekly. For this reason I have very little time to dedicate myself into digital art and creating new artworks, however when I got some free time I try to get my hands for creating new works. I love it and really enjoy what I can do playing with Photoshop and was hoping that one day I have more time to devote into digital art.

If you don’t mind telling, where do you usually source for good inspiration?
Inspiration is everywhere, inspiration is actually around you, on the street, cloud, flame, movies, magazines, within all directions which you look closely you will see good inspiration. Of course, the great artists also bring us some good inspiration, but a watchful eye can see inspiration in almost everywhere.

Can you tell us among many of your creative art piece, which are your most favorite one and why?
This one is quiet hard to answer.. Each of new design work is always my favorite. I always learning something new in every new design work that I develop. But of course I had one job that is kind of special for me as it is a very clean working and has a sense of really cool movement. This work I’m refering is entitled THE BIKER.

Once you’re start working on a piece or design work, what’s your frequent working process like?
Well, my creative process does not follow any rules. Sometimes, when I start on a project or an idea, there will always a little different from my original idea even though I have followed the idea from the first place. Also happens sometimes, I was drawing my idea on a sketch just for some test drawing, but in the end the result are really cool. That’s the way I worked which usually end up pretty cool.

How did you improve your design work and techniques?
I can say that practicing is a good techniques to improve your skills, do some new experiment on your design techniques and read lots of good tutorials which I’m pretty sure really helps very much.

What are the software + hardware you currently use to produce your such magnificent art?
My main software is without any doubt is the ADOBE Photoshop. But, sometimes I also use the Xara 3d ADOBE illustrator. I’ve never use any plugins, it was fun enough for me to do everything using only the Photoshop tools.

If you don’t mind telling us again, what are your coming projects? and what are your goals or future plans for your career?
I have several projects in mind and some scratches in hand but I don’t have much time to do it all, many of them were started but have not yet been finalized, as I will keep it confidential for now. I really hope to work professionally as a digital artist and I’m looking for my place in this world of digital art. Currently, I’m still looking for more exposure and recognition and I’m sure that not only me but many talented artists will also find their place.

If you’re not a designer/illustrators, what will you possibly be now?
Well, as I mentioned I’m 33 years old manager in a jewelry store here in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. I’m pretty sure I’ll get my space as digital artist too. I trust in God and he always help me.

What sort of advice you can share to those young designers and illustrators out there that are just starting their carrier now?
Well, my advice is to practice as much as possible. Photoshop is a whole universe with thousands of possibilities and you will only improve if you practice, practice and keep practice. But never forget to practice other types of activities too and if you can try to play soccer as well as we Brazilians.. heheh!
